These terms cover your use of this website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These website terms are separate from the written estimate or contract for any actual electrical work. If something in a signed estimate or work agreement conflicts with what is written here, the signed document controls the work.

What This Website Is

This site describes the services Gourley Electric offers and gives you a way to get in touch. Everything on it is general information about our work.

Nothing on this site is a quote, a bid, or a promise of a price. Prices, timelines, and what a job involves depend entirely on the specific conditions at your property, which we have to actually look at first.

No Do It Yourself Electrical Advice

Descriptions of our work on this site are not instructions. Electrical work is dangerous and in Massachusetts most of it legally requires a licensed electrician and, in many cases, a permit and inspection.

Do not use anything on this site as a guide to perform your own electrical work. If you are unsure whether something is safe, stop and call a licensed electrician.

Estimates and Scheduling

We give you a price for the work in front of us before we start. If we open something up and find conditions we could not see during the estimate, we stop and talk it over with you before doing additional work.

Time windows are our honest best effort. Weather, permits, inspections, supply availability, and emergencies on other jobs can move a schedule. If something changes we will tell you.

Photos on this site are of work actually performed by Gourley Electric. We do not present other companies' work as our own.

Contacting Us Through the Site

When you submit the contact form you are asking us to get back to you, and you confirm the contact details you gave us are yours to give. Please do not send confidential or sensitive personal information through the form.
